Photography and Video Production Retainer Partnership: The Basics
At Outlive Creative, we connect with our clients/brands (you) in two ways to provide photo and video production services:
Per Project Fee. This is exactly how it sounds. We work with you to produce content for mid to large commercial projects. These one-off projects range from $25k up to $300k for big-scope concepts and multi-day productions. Pricing is determined by THE GOALS AND DESIRED OUTCOME required to complete the project.
Monthly Retainer Fee. This is where we work with you consistently to deliver a pre-determined amount of photo and/or video deliverables within the retainer time period - usually 6-12 months. A partnership is developed between the production team (us) and you, and we become integrated into your brand. Retainer pricing for photo and video production starts in the $3k - $8k range and can be scaled up to $20k+ per month, depending on how much work you need to produce.
How to know if a monthly photo and video production retainer is right for you
First, map out your year’s photo and video production schedule to determine the content needed. For example, you may need 1-2 branding videos produced but also require photo support, social media videos in various dimensions, corporate interviews, customer testimonials, and event coverage throughout the year.
