My toddler has been attending an incredible preschool for the past two years, and when they asked me to help rebuild their website, I saw an opportunity to completely transform how their school was presented online.
After reviewing their existing website and visual assets, I decided the best approach was to start from the ground up. Along with designing and building a brand-new website and incorporating their updated branding, I also took a fresh approach to their photography.
Rather than relying on their existing iPhone photographs as they were, I professionally enhanced and refined the images using Photoshop and AI-powered creative tools. The goal wasn’t to make the photos look artificial—it was to bring out the quality, warmth, and character that were already there, while giving them the polished appearance of professional photography.
Tree of Life Academy was transitioning its marketing materials and classroom environments toward a warmer, more natural, earth-toned aesthetic. That new visual AESTHETIC became the foundation for my art direction. I carefully refined the photographs to complement their branding, including adjusting tones, lighting, color, composition, and overall visual consistency.
The result was a collection of images that felt cohesive, intentional, warm, and professional—without requiring the school to organize an expensive professional photography shoot for every image.
