PNW WINTER WONDERLAND

The Pacific Northwest has been hit with a handful of solid storms that brought snow to our beautiful mountains. For us this means that we get to pull out the shred sticks and go play in the white, snowy, winter wonderland that the PNW offers.

The team recently had the opportunity to demo some splitboards for the first time from Voile. The whole point for us was to get as far away from other humans as possible, so we did just that. We toured several miles away from the crowds to discover a perfect, untouched, steep and deep section of snow that we wanted to ride. Literally plowing our way to the top of the hill was super gratifying and rewarding.

Our trek was an absolute mission. It was very peaceful being out in the elements with no one around. We finally reached the top - by way of making our own switchbacks up the mountain. Put our boards back together and Nick dropped into his line first. After making two or three of the most rewarding turns of his life a section of the slope slipped and caused a little avalanche. He was able to stay above it all and watch the snow plunge into the trees below. Crazy experience!

We were blessed to spend last weekend in Parkdale. During our stay we were able to spend time with good friends and family.
